Not Fully Human, Not Human at All takes its name from Donna Haraway’s essay “Ecce Homo, Ain’t (Ar’n’t) I a Woman, and Inappropriate/d Others”, a text which challenges the “universal” claims of Enlightenment Humanism in order to propose conditions of what she calls “non-generic” collective humanity. Against precarious Work – and the importance of solidarity

The Colombian artist Oscar Murillo (* 1986 in La Paíla) is dealing in his exhibition at the Kunstverein Hamburg with the subject of precarious work and the importance of understanding solidarity. Primarily a painter and interested in aesthetic discourse – he is going beyond this framework.  He has  installed within the large hall of the Kunstverein an agora where he try to express his unbroken belief in geographic, cultural and socio-political cohesion.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIFT FOR THE 200TH BIRTHDAY OF KUNSTVEREIN HAMBURG

Wolfgang Tillmann’s exhibition on the 200th anniversary of the Kunstverein Hamburg is celebrated with great media interest.
